Brewster, KS Unified School District 314 recently completed National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) training at the high school. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade participated in the sport in November, 2008. Pictured is T.J. Preston with his "Robin Hood". A "Robin Hood" occurs when one arrow strikes another such that it penetrates the first arrow. Good Shooting, T.J.!

Instructor Laura Rush said, "The kids really loved it-it hits our outdoor culture". Instructor Rush was certified as a NASP instructor at Colby Community College in April,2008. The archery kit used in the training was donated to the college by Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks and is to be used on a rotational basis with participating schools.
