Colby Community College will begin offering NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) training to elementary, middle school, and high school instructors in the Spring of 2008. Please visit the NASP site at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7Zbt0V1SD4#GU5U2spHI_4 . This is an excellent 7 minute video that details the program, explaining the purpose and goals. Training is scheduled for April 23, 2008 on the Colby Community College campus. Participants will meet Wednesday morning, April 23rd at Room 107 of the Student Union building. There is no cost for the 8 hour Basic Archery Instructor (BAI) training. Instructors must be certified to teach the NASP program so that students can participate in local and regional tournaments. This is a terrific program! Check it out!

How many people can join?
Class size will be limited to 10 students so several classes will be scheduled.
Congratulations for being one of the first in the world for introducing the NASP into higher education. We at NASP – Australia look forward to watching the program grow with your students and guidance. NASP is a fantastic program teaching many positive skills to both the young and old that assists them in their life.
Well done!

This is so cool. I may have some different approaches, such as a ready supply of certified instructors at graduation and a public outreach. But I am excited as can be.
